Miho no Matsubara
A component asset of Mount Fuji, a World Heritage Site. 30,000 pine trees grow along the approximately 7km coastline, and the spectacular view of Mount Fuji, the sea, and the pine forest is a quintessential Japanese landscape, depicted in the ukiyo-e prints of Utagawa Hiroshige. The view from around Hagoromo no Matsu is particularly popular, and the legend of the celestial maiden's feather robe remains.
