A magnificent mausoleum dedicated to Tokugawa Ieyasu. It is also famous for its sculptures of the three monkeys: see no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil.

アクセス情報
It takes about two hours from Tokyo to Nikko by Tobu Limited Express, and 50 minutes to Utsunomiya by Shinkansen. Traveling within the prefecture by car is convenient.

Ashikaga Flower Park Wisteria
The 160-year-old wisteria trellis, which stretches over 1,000 square meters, is a sight to behold. The wisteria flowers, which bloom in the order of pale pink, purple, white, and yellow, are known worldwide as the "Story of Wisteria." The illuminated wisteria at night is also a fantastic sight.

Nikko Toshogu Shrine Yomeimon Gate
The National Treasure Yomeimon Gate is decorated with 508 sculptures and is known as the "Higurashi no Mon" (Mon of Daily Life) because you could look at it all day without getting bored. The gold leaf and brilliantly colored decorations are overwhelmingly beautiful.
